My father passed away six days ago. We are cleaning and packing the house and we came across this! I’m excited to use it somehow artfully… Any ideas out there?

Condolences – Tracing comes to mind immediately. Smudgeable line art four of five deep that you could paint as a series. Crazy texture rubs. “Invisible” drawing. Use a stylus or fingernail on the top sheet, something that leaves nothing but a dent. Oh well…many things to do with carbon paper

I’m sorry for your loss. As far as the carbon paper goes, we have an ancient typewriter on a table–carbon paper could go in there. Visitors are invited to type a message. After nine years we have quite a log of memories. Three weeks ago a three-year-old was mesmerized by this “machine.” He tore the paper out of the roll–so we now have a half-sheet of memories, a memory in itself.

Steffen, what a great idea! I am having my father’s typewriter shipped to me in as couple months. ❤️
