When my father was diagnosed with lung cancer, we admitted him to the hospital. To say you need to advocate for your loved ones is an enormous understatement. In fact, one needs to be self-aware and then advocate for oneself. Don’t ever count on the professionals to have your best interests at heart. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. Are you willing to place your life in someone else’s hands?
