  1. OMG, that was brave of them to ask. A local school here in California had a lady who made posole, a Mexican soup, once a week. The kids really liked it, only to have it eventually banned by the District as not part of the approved food plan.

    1. I understand sanitary concerns and all, but I believe our public school lunches could include more ethnic fare. Maybe it’s just us in Arizona? Also, the fruits and veggies are never very fresh.
