The lunch ladies at our school want to drum up more business. They asked me to distribute surveys to see what kids want and what would impel them to purchase school lunch. Here are some of their responses:

OMG, that was brave of them to ask. A local school here in California had a lady who made posole, a Mexican soup, once a week. The kids really liked it, only to have it eventually banned by the District as not part of the approved food plan.
I understand sanitary concerns and all, but I believe our public school lunches could include more ethnic fare. Maybe it’s just us in Arizona? Also, the fruits and veggies are never very fresh.
