A Clean Diet

There’s lots of talk about “clean diets.” If you want to start eating well, but don’t know where to begin, look to the Mediterranean Diet. It’s one of the most universally agreed upon regimens for feeling good:

Key components of the Mediterranean diet*

  • Eating primarily plant-based foods, such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes and nuts
  • Replacing butter with healthy fats such as olive oil and canola oil
  • Using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavor foods
  • Limiting red meat to no more than a few times a month
  • Eating fish and poultry at least twice a week
  • Enjoying meals with family and friends
  • Drinking red wine in moderation (optional)
  • Getting plenty of exercise

(I would add: limit caffeine, sugar and fried foods).

  1. I like your fish drawing – a lot!
And I disagree with this Mediterranean diet –
Well let me start by saying that first I think we should always eat for our blood type and heritage –
And it is something I continue to learn but when your intestines feel
And work great – your mind and brain work great and health is amazing

And so some blood types do better with red meat – and I am
One of them – but the quality of red meat matters – grass fed means the meat has the nutrients of the grass cud (time of b vitamins and aminos and much more but corn fed is anemic to start) and then a processed burger is it the same as a really good steak – most people who slam red meat have not had the taste of melt in your mouth steaks – oh wow!
And don’t want to get started on grains but this is my big problem here –
Today’s grains are not ideal for the human body and many people who get off of them have amazing gut health which is where immune function is…
Also – the Legumes and even tomatoes (night shadess) can be problematic for some people (spending on what they have going on)
And the fish type matters – farm raised can be dangerous

But again – I know body types are different and if this diet has someone thriving than woo hoo – but in my experience I do nkt see this as leading to thriving health – with energy snd script free – and with optimal weight.

I know we all have different views but it took me a while to see that the train fed diet is a crock (and industrial oils are killing us)

    Really good stuff
