What a great question, Charlie. I think “success” is such a subjective word. My father was a child of war in Korea. He survived…grew up in an orphanage (placed there by his parents). He became a college professor here in the States. Some would say that’s a modest profession. I deem it “successful”. He never saw it that way. He wasn’t a doctor or rich so he never saw himself as successful.But looking bad at those hungry and hard years, I thnk he can see it as “beautiful” in a way.
Great quote and worth a share, but doesn’t that only apply if you are successful? 😉
