I think I find the opposite to Eckhart Tolle. I paint because it takes me to that place of stillness, to “no mind”. Perhaps this is another way of saying the same thing?
I believe Eckhart would say that it is because you possess stillness that you can paint. I feel the same way you do: I am in touch with stillness when I create art.
