Jesse nodded as he worked on his page.
Kevin had only watched other people’s channels.
It had never dawned on him to have his own!

One afternoon, in math class, Kevin noticed that Jesse was not working on math. Upon closer inspection, Kevin saw that Jesse was quite off-task!

They worked on their rainforest project.
And then they watched Bill Nye the Science Guy.
The next day in school, Lily and Kevin sat together at lunch. Kevin traded his clover for some of Lily’s collard greens. They did this every day.
“Want to come over today to work on the Rain Forest project?” Kevin asked.
“Sure. What time?”
“4? And afterwards, we can watch Bill Nye the Science Guy.”
“Sure, that sounds great.”

Taking a course by Cecilia Varela (through Domestika). She’s really good, but I don’t like Kevin (Kevin and His YouTube Channel) the way she instructed. She suggested to make his eyes large to appeal to children. Maybe my book is not really for children (?) But I much prefer him to look like a 40-year old 5th-grade chameleon. I think it’s hilarious.
Varela’s-influence Kevin:
I do like her exercise in making body parts to show animation on the page. I’ll do more today.
